An experimental Russian Helicopter, the V-7 was equipped with AI-7 turbines on the ends of its two-bladed main rotor--the first of its kind. Developed from 1956-1957, four aircraft were manufactured in 1959. The helicopter was designed to seat three passengers in addition to the pilot.
