Variant of the Mil Mi-24 with the NATO designation of 'Hind F'.  The helicopter has a pod and boom configuration, has a passenger capacity of 8, and is fitted with a 30 mm fixed gun mount.  The engines are fitted with deflectors and separators for dust intake prevention.  Onboard equipment allows operation during daytime and twilight under Visual Flight Rules  (VFR) weather conditions.
