In development by the Chinese Helicopter Research and Development Institute (CHRDI), the AV500W is an armed variant of the civilian AV500 unmanned aircraft (UAV).  Maximum payload is 160 kg (352.74 lbs).  The aircraft can be equipped with an EO/IR sensor and target detection and tracking.
