Frederick L. Feinberg was a Helicopter Test Pilot for the Kaman Corporation. He was known by his contemporaries as an exemplary man, an outstanding pilot, and someone who made tremendous contributions to rotary wing aeronautics. The AHS/VFS Frederick Feinberg Award was named after him and it honors a vertical flight aircraft pilot or crewmember who demonstrates outstanding skills or achievement.
