Armand C. (Buck) Crossen, 53, former marketing manager for Breeze Corporatioins, Inc., died April 7 in Hartford, Conn., after apparently suffering a heart attack during a business trip to New England.

Crossen was a stauch supporter of the Society and of its activities, having been a member since April, 1963.  Until his election last summer to president and chief executive officer of Federal Laboratories, Inc., Saltsburg, Pa., he was a familiar figure at events in the Northeast Region at the Annual National Forum.

While wit Breeze, Crossen was responsible for the ascensioin of the company to leadership in the sales of cargo and rescue winches and hoists for the commercial and military helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft field.  He also was instrumental in the broad expansion of the Breeze line of equipment into worldwide markets, particularly Europe and the Orient.

He held positions previously with Houdaille Industries Hydraulic Div. and Chance Vought Corp.
