Frederick W. Garry was an AHS past president and retired VP of Corporate Engineering & Manufacturing at GE Aircraft Engines. A longtime member of the Society, Garry is also a member of the GE Aircraft Engine Hall of Fame.  In 1990, he was awarded the National Medal of Technology by President George Bush in honor of his career achievements. He died on February 10, 1993.  He was 71.
