Gene Sebasky was born on November 12, 1933 in Danville, Illinois. 

A member of the Society since 1980, Sebasky was very active in the AHS Dayton Chapter.  He served as secretary and later as president.  He was also an active member of the chapter's board of directors.

Sebasky was employed by IBM from 1955 to 1988 and in his most recent position he was assigned to IBM's Federal Systems Division's Dayton office.  While with IBM he worked on the US Air Force HH-53 Pave Low Project contract.  During 1956-1957 he served as a US Air Force officer, on leave from IBM.  Sebasky assisted in the work of the Archimedes Rotorcraft and V/STOL Museum located in the Dayton area.  He passed away on November 12, 1994 at the age of 61.
