 A computational fluid dynamicist and member of the Society since 1984, Ganapathi R. Srinivasan was a group leader in CFD and Advanced Aerodynamics at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Sunnyvale, CA. Prior to that, he did CFD research at NASA Ames Research Center starting as a National Research Council Associate, then as a staff engineer for Flow Simulations, Inc., Thermal Sciences, Inc. and JAI Associates, Inc. In 1993, he became Chief Scientist for Raytheon Systems Company at NASA Ames, supporting applied aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, and CFD work. During his career he published over 80 peer-reviewed technical papers, reports and journal articles.

Mr. Srinivasan passed away on October 8, 2004.
