Donald Williams, Jr. was a pioneer in commercial aviation for over forty years. Williams' career in commercial aviation spanned a wide spectrum of activities. Williams served as the New York Traffic Manager of Trans World Airlines, and later, Assistant to the President of the predecessor company to Delta Airlines. He was also the Founder and President of Execuplane, an early executive helicopter service in metropolitan New York active in the sixties, and later, President of Marineways, a hovercraft transportation facility, and most recently, as Founder and Vice Chairman of Helicopter Associates, Inc., a charter helicopter service. He was a former Director of Kaman Helicopter Corp., a Director of the American Helicopter Society (Vertical Flight Society), and an officer of the Wings Club of New York.
