After the failure of the CJC-1A, Major General Chia-Jen Chu began on the second model. There was the addition of two transparent panels at the lower end of the “Humming Bird Model A.” This change was made in 1945. In July 1948, he spent four months completing the fabrication of the CJC-1B “Hummingbird Model B”.
